Stan's second release in a series of four tributes to the AVG, this lithograph is his tribute to the AVG’s Second Pursuit Squadron. The scene depicts a ground attack mission flown on January 3, 1942. Three AVG Panda Bears arrived right over a Japanese airfield minutes after the Japanese fighters were returning from an early raid. A ceremony was taking place, but the AVG certainly spoiled the party.
